Financial Policy

Please review our financial policy so that you will be familiar with the way our office handles accounts. We feel we have developed a fair and simple policy that benefits both our patients and the office.

  • The fee quoted on any treatment plan is good for six months and is only an estimate of the final charges. There are occasions when, during treatment, discoveries are made that may alter the planned treatment. Additions or subtractions to the proposed treatment may be made as the treatment progresses. We will inform you of these changes as soon as they occur.

  • We are a fee-for-service practice and therefore payment is expected at the time service is rendered. Unlike most medical practices, we are not under contract with any insurance company, so we do not accept payments from these institutions. We will, as a courtesy, file your insurance claim form electronically. This eliminates the need for you to fill out any paperwork after your appointment. After your account is settled, we will submit your insurance claim electronically and the insurance reimbursement will come directly to you. We have found this to be the fastest, most effective way to handle dental insurance. We file for any and all insurance carriers so we do not have to be on any pre-approved list for you to be reimbursed.

  • We accept cash, personal check, VISA, and MasterCard. We also have payment plans available through CareCredit and Capital One so please see our receptionist if you are interested. We would like to know if you are interested in a payment plan before treatment is started. Fees for any of our services can be obtained via a treatment plan statement prior to work being performed. Our business office will give you this statement at your request.
